I just hit a ten point buck on my way home from work.

Not cool. Luckily I was going slow enough that the car is still usable. And insurance will cover the fix, but damn... Not cool.

That sucks...at least your car isn’t too damaged and is repairable. I had two close calls myself with young deer a few weeks ago. Both were in town limits, so I was only going 50kph and missed them both, barely.
